14-day right of withdrawal
The right of Withdrawal is exercised by sending – prior to the 14-day right of Withdrawal Period - a notice of withdrawal (hereinafter "Notice of Withdrawal") by paper mail addressed to: FAR s.a.s. Via della Carrera 20 31010 Cimadolmo (TV) – Italy Tel. +39 0422 7483
The Notice of Withdrawal can be alternatively sent - within the same Withdrawal Period as just indicated - by e-mail to the following address: info@vanitypet.com with the Subject of the e-mail "Notice of Withdrawal.".
The Notice of Withdrawal must specify the consumer’s intention to withdraw from the Purchase, indicating the Product or Products for which the right of Withdrawal is enforced.
Following the proper exercise of the right of Withdrawal, as outlined in Article 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, Vanity Pet will forward to the Consumer the Practice Number via e-mail.
This Number must be specified by the Consumer when returning the Product(s) (hereinafter "Return").
The Return of the Product(s) must take place within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the Consumer communicated his/her decision to want to withdraw pursuant to Article 52 of the Consumer Code.
The deadline will be met if the Consumer sends back or returns the subject of Withdrawal Product(s) before the period of 14 days has expired.

Vanity Pet reminds its Customers that they can cancel their Order within 24 (twenty-four) hours after payment at no additional cost.
Vanity Pet reminds its Customers that transport costs for the return of the Product(s) object of Withdrawal shall be borne by the Consumer except for orders processed by Vanity Pet non-conforming to the order. The Return is under the full responsibility of the Consumer himself/herself.
Prior to the Return, Vanity Pet reminds you to check that the Product(s) subject to Withdrawal is/are intact and in normal condition, placed in the original packaging, complete in all their parts (including packaging and documentation, if any).
Pursuant to applicable law, the Consumer shall be responsible only for any diminution in the value of the Product(s) resulting from any handling of the said Product(s) beyond those effectively necessary to verify the integrity or correctness of the Product(s).
Therefore, if the returned goods are damaged (e.g., with signs of wear, abrasion, scratches, deformations, and so on), not complete with all their elements and accessories (including unaltered labels and tags attached to the product), not accompanied by the attached notes, the original packaging and the warranty certificate, if any, the Consumer shall be responsible for the decrease in the patrimonial value of the good, and will only be reimbursed for the residual value of the Product.
To this end the Consumer is asked not to handle the good beyond what is strictly necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods and to wrap the original wrapping of the Products with further protective packaging to preserve its integrity and protect it from written markings or labels.
If the right of Withdrawal has been properly exercised in accordance with the provisions of Articles 52 et seq., Vanity Pet will refund the Consumer the full amount already paid, excluding any Delivery Charges, within 30 (thirty) days from the day on which Vanity Pet was informed of the Consumer's decision to withdraw from the Purchase Agreement.
The Customer will be refunded to the same means of payment used by the Consumer for the initial transaction, unless expressly requested otherwise by the Consumer and provided that the Consumer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.
VanityPet, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 56 of the Consumer Code as amended by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, reserves the right to withhold the refund until it has received the Product(s) or until the Consumer has demonstrated that he/she has shipped the Product(s), whichever situation occurs first.
The right of withdrawal is rejected for the supply of custom-made or personalized good, or goods of capsule collection, or seasonal campaign.

Warranty dispute
The Consumer, as defined in Article 3 of the Consumer Code (hereinafter, "Consumer Code", Legislative Decree September 6, 2005, no. 206), is entitled to enforce the legal Guarantee provided by the Consumer Code in Articles 128 to 132.
This Guarantee provides, among other things, that the Consumer, under penalty of forfeiture, reports to Vanity Pet any lack of conformity found by the Consumer in the product purchased within 2 (two) months of discovery (Article 132, Consumer Code).
Following such complaint, the Consumer shall have the right to request the repair or replacement of the Product, without prejudice to the other legal rights provided by law in favor of the Consumer.
By virtue of the aforementioned Legal Warranty, Vanity Pet is responsible for conformity defects that manifest themselves within 2 (two) months from the Delivery of the Product.
After that deadline, Vanity Pet, will not be responsible for conformity defects found by the Consumer. In case of replacement or repair of the Product, the terms of the warranty related to the Product sent as replacement or as repaired are the same as those of the original product.
Therefore, the total two-year or six-year term of the legal warranty for fabric parts will begin upon the Delivery of the original Product. In order to benefit from the warranty, it is recommended to exhibit the purchase document.
Reference is made, in any case, as regards governance of legal guarantees to Articles 128 and thereafter of the Consumer Code.
The present guarantee is valid for the whole Italian area, Vatican City and San Marino Republic included ("Legal Guarantee of Conformity for Consumer Goods") provided by Title III, Chapter I of the Consumer Code (art. 128 ff.). Products are guaranteed, for the duration indicated above and within the territory identified above, if they have any conformity defects or damages.
Any liability of the seller is excluded, and therefore the validity of the warranty is excluded, if the product itself has not been used correctly, in accordance with its intended use.
Said warranty is issued only in favor of the Customer, who is a Private Consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Code.
Subjects who are not consumers (defined as the natural person who buys goods for purposes not related to his professional activity, or makes the purchase without indicating in the order form a VAT number reference) are invited not to execute purchase orders.
If one or more sales are made to a subject who does not qualify as a consumer, these general terms and conditions of sale will apply but, but notwithstanding the provisions in the same:
- the purchaser will not be granted the right of withdrawal set forth in Article 10;
- the purchaser will not be benefit from the product warranty indicated in Article 8;
- the purchaser will not be entitled to any protections, if any, set out here in favor of the Consumer, which reflect or are in accordance with mandatory legal provisions;
- the contract of sale concluded between Vanity Pet and the purchaser shall be governed by Italian law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods
- Vienna Convention of 1980.
If, for any reason, Vanity Pet is unable to return to the Customer a product under warranty (either repaired or replaced), Vanity Pet will proceed to refund the amount paid taking into account the use of the good or its replacement with a product of equal or superior characteristics.
Product repair and substitution times depend exclusively on producer’s policies. No damages can be claimed from Vanity Pet for any delays in carrying out repairs or replacements.
In cases where the application of the above-mentioned warranty involves the return of the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in their original packaging, complete in all its parts (including any documentation and accessory equipment: manuals, cables, and so on); it is recommended to wrap the original wrapping of the Products with further protective packaging to preserve its integrity and protect it; it is advised to avoid attaching labels or adhesive tapes directly on the original product packaging.
The Customer will be provided with a "Return Code" for returning the product, which shall be indicated on the outside of the packaging, following the instructions supplied directly in the authorization e-mail.
